Oftentimes, students are eager to have the latest and greatest devices but can be limited by their budgets. Installment plans for smartphones enable students to have the latest devices, including iPhones, without breaking the bank.

What is a device installment plan?

A device installment plan allows you to split the cost of a new device across a set period of time, so your monthly payments are predictable.

In addition to signing up for a device installment plan, you may be interested in AT&T Next Up Anytime, which is our phone upgrade program designed and geared towards those looking for the flexibility to upgrade their phone sooner rather than later.

Oftentimes, being part of a family plan for wireless service makes the most sense. At AT&T, adding a new line for a smartphone can cost as low as $30 per month per line, depending on the plan and features you select. You can also add a new line for a smartwatch for a small monthly fee.
