When should I get a new phone?

When new smartphones launch, you might look at your current one and ask, “When should I get a new phone?” Your phone is such a vital part of your daily life. It does more than connect you with friends, family, and work. It’s your companion across myriad apps to help you navigate daily life. But all that activity wears on your device. Signs that you need a new smartphone include: 

  • Your battery doesn’t last as long, doesn’t charge properly, or the phone overheats

  • Your phone no longer supports operating system (OS) updates
