As the final season of “Game of Thrones” draws to a close, social media continues to erupt around the show, its plot twists and the characters fans have come to know and love. With this in mind, we ran a consumer survey to explore how different characters might leverage today’s technologies, tools and online experiences. This is what we learned:
- Who could use social media the most?
If the realm of “Game of Thrones” had social media, roughly one in five said either Jon Snow (21.7%) or Sansa Stark (21.3 %) could use social media the most, followed by Tyrion Lannister (16.2%), Daenerys Targaryen (15.6%), Jorah Mormont (12.7%) and Cersei Lannister (12.1%). - Who seems the most like an influencer?

Roughly 13% chose “other,” perhaps thinking of Lord Varys and his “little birds.” - Which character’s live stream would you watch?
It’s Arya Stark’s live stream that Americans would want to watch most. Over forty-three percent chose hers, followed by the hypothetical live streams of Brienne of Tarth (13.7%), Missandei (12.3%), Tormund Giantsbane (11.3%), Jorah Mormont (11.1%) and Samwell Tarly (8%). - Who seems most like a social troll?

Our survey also shows where American’s allegiances are as we move closer to the final episode of the show: Close to half of respondents (49%) say they support House Stark, followed by House Targaryen (22.1%) and House Lannister (11.5%). And, roughly 17 percent said “other.” Maybe it was too hard to choose only one…?
